Leia is a dream dog. She came to us through Romania. She was born and then left Ukraine when she was three days past 8 weeks old. That is when the Russia invaded Ukraine, and the breeder was forced to flee Ukraine for Romania with all her dogs including 10 puppies in their car!
She is very gentle and loving. Leia is the perfect Therapy Dog. She does recognize when a person is stressed and will come up to comfort you. She and my wife are best friends. She sleeps at the end of the bed at my wife's feet just waiting for anyone to wake up and start the day. She is always ready to love and comfort.
Leia has had one litter so far and I'm very pleased to see that she has passed her loving personality onto her offspring.
So far two of the puppies we selected from her litter have completed their AKC CGC and working on their AKC Urban Canine test and Therapy Dogs International test. I'm confident they both will pass this and go on to become incredible Therapy Dogs. Watch for them at the West LA VA Hospital in Los Angeles. They are frequently there volunteering. Now that they are over one year old they can both become Therapy Dogs.
